Sanitation Worker

Department:Sanitation
Hours:Full-time, 6a – 6p

Summary:  Sanitation at high standards, work under the Dietary Director, Dietary Manager and Dietary Supervisor.  You must stock shelves with unpacked items, rotation FIFO, follow Food Safety and Sanitation guidelines and deliver food carts/meals to Hospital and Nursing Home. Must have good time management skills, communication skills and pay attention to details. You put up deliveries and weekly inventory.  Other duties assigned as needed.

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to understand cleaning schedules and pull sheets.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player and able to get along well with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A High school education or its equivalent is required
  • Prior experience working in food service preferred
