RN – Nursing Services

Summary: Looking for individuals who can provide direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting.  This person will promote and restore patient’s health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians/providers and multi-disciplinary team members; providing physical and psychosocial support to patients and families and supervising assigned team members. This person must possess a great attitude and be very customer service orientated. 

• Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. 
• Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
• Ability to revise plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Ability to perform waived testing (point-of-care testing) per policies and procedures.
• Ability to interpret results of waived tests; take appropriate action on waived tests results.
• Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient’s age.
• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
• Documentation meets current standards and policies.
• Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
• Coordinates and supervises patient care as necessary.
• Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the State of Mississippi
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Must promote and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
