Summary: Looking for a registered nurse to provide quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurses and physician/provider.
- Administers medications as prescribed by a physician/provider
- Takes vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, and weight
- Obtains medical histories
- Assume self-responsibility for all direct patient care activities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act
- Maintains, reviews, and records appropriate information in the EHR, a detailed report of care given which reflects the therapeutic plan and specific aspects of the patient’s plan of care
- Prepares and documents clinical notes in the EHR
- Maintains current medication regimen, E-Prescribing and refilling.
- Reinforces instructions given to the patient by the Physician/Provider and RN and educates patients/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, diagnoses, and maintenance of health and wellness
- Ensures patient needs with urgent appointments, scheduling procedures/tests, reports results of results of tests and incoming patients treatment related phone calls are met
- Performs selected prescribed treatment and nursing measures for the patient under specific guidelines
- Ensures privacy for patient and confidentiality of condition, personal information, and patient’s clinical records
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Mississippi.
- Prior experience working in a cardiac clinic preferred.
