Summary: Looking for a Human Resources Director who will be assigned to manage all human resources-related activities including, but not limited to, recruitment, talent acquisition, retention, employee benefits programs, progressive disciplinary and human resource policies.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Be familiar with all EEOC, ADA, FMLA and FLSA guidelines as they relate to employment at a healthcare facility
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to streamline hiring procedures
- Responsible for setting up and assisting with annual benefits enrollment
- Assists in defining the human resources policies of the hospital in collaboration with the management, and company guidelines
- Coordinates the dissemination of information to employees through posted notices, memos, e-mail, flyers, brochures, etc
- Maintains current files on active and inactive employees and ensures compliance
- Ensures that all employees are up to date on all requirements (i.e., Licensures, annual education, CPR, orientation, etc.)
- Responds to requests for information/references from outside companies regarding Human Resources issues; Responds effectively to all unemployment compensation inquiries
- Maintains knowledge of changes in policies and procedures and awareness of current developments and trends in Human Resources related issues; Maintains own professional growth through appropriate organizations, workshops, seminars and other educational endeavors
- Responsible for unemployment hearings and documentation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required, ability to maintain confidentiality
- Foster open communication and early dispute resolution.
- Lead and follow up on employee complaints and make sure incident reports
- Organizes and leads General Orientation for employees, students and contractors
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Healthcare Administration or related field, required
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Director or Manager of Human Resources preferred.
- Supervisory experience required
- SHRM Certification preferred
