Dr. Amy Potter serves as a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine in Madison. Dr. Potter is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Medical Degree (M.D.) from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Potter completed a combined Pediatric and Internal Medicine residency and a Pediatric and Adult Endocrinology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Potter’s passion is caring for pediatric endocrinology patients and she will be focusing her Madison practice on children with diabetes, growth hormone deficiency, thyroid problems, and other endocrinological disorders. Dr. Potter is certified in Pediatric Endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Prior to joining the medical staff at MCAM, Dr. Potter spent over twelve years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and also has extensive experience as a medical writer. Dr. Potter is excited to bring her skillset to Mississippi and looks forward to serving pediatric endocrinology patients across the state. In her free time, Dr. Potter enjoys jewelry making, gardening and birding.
