PRICE TRANSPARENCY
Effective January 1, 2019, in an effort to “improve the transparency of hospital charges”, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has mandated that all facilities participating in the Medicare and Medicaid programs “make public a list of their standard charges” via the internet [CMS-1694-F].
The Price File, also known as the Charge Description Master (CDM) consists of two master lists of charges related to all services including professional fees, supplies, devices, vaccines, radiopharmaceuticals, and room accommodation charge codes for inpatients and outpatients of NSMC.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our price estimates, the costs associated with medical care and diagnostic testing can vary substantially, depending on each individual’s medical needs and circumstances. We cannot determine in advance the exact total cost of a procedure, because we cannot anticipate all of the charges that may be incurred in the course of treatment. As a result, the final bill may be greater than or less than the estimate provided. North Sunflower Medical Center makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy of the pricing information posted here and shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies

Enter a partial word or phrase in the Description field, or search by Department/Charge Category: An example would be “Lab” to find the Laboratory Department, or “Rad” to find Radiology charges. An automatic query will return a list of results in the pull-down. When selected, the results will appear in the grid. You can search on multiple fields also. Clear your search with the “Clear” button to the far right of the text search box.
