North Sunflower Medical Center achieves Stage 2 Meaningful Use with Nuclei Health Consultancy, LLC as its Meaningful Use Strategic Partner.North Sunflower Medical Center, a critical access hospital serving the acute and ambulatory needs of the Ruleville, MS community, and a leader in service delivery across all critical access facilities in the US, announced they have successfully achieved Stage 2 Meaningful Use. Meaningful Use is a comprehensive, multi-staged clinical and technology initiative affecting all hospitals and physician practices across the Nation. The Meaningful Use Initiative was part of the Obama Administration ARRA Stimulus Act, requiring all hospitals and physician practices to adopt and demonstrate the “Meaningful Use” of a certified electronic health record system in their hospital and/or practice. In partnership with Nuclei Health Consultancy, LLC of Nashville Tennessee, North Sunflower Medical Center has met the clinical and technology requirements associated with Stage 2 of the MU Program. Meeting Stage 2 Meaningful Use is significant in that not all hospitals will be able to successfully achieve this level of compliance. Successful implementation of Stage 2 sets the stage at NSMC for transformation that is accurate, predictable, efficient and cost effective.
